Partserve now supports MSI notebooks
10 Apr 2015
MSI, a world recognised gaming brand, has appointed PartServe channel support as its official authorised local support and warranty partner for laptop computers. Partserve will now carry a full range of spare parts to support MSI laptop computers.
The MSI warranty programme comprises a carry-in warranty repair and return service for MSI laptop computers. "It includes faulty spare part return of merchandise authorisation (RMA) management and defective on arrival (DOA) service."
MSI's John Hung says Partserve was the perfect fit. "As the preferred warranty partner in southern Africa, we believe Partserve will represent MSI professionally. Seeing that they are experts in providing warranty repairs and support, it doesn't make sense for us to do it ourselves."
Having evolved as one of South Africa's most diverse IT outsource warranty management companies, PartServe stocks and sells spare parts for all the products it officially supports and most other branded IT products available to the local market.
PartServe director Lee Bowes says there is a definite trend towards vendors like MSI to move their support and warranty functions to an IT outsource warranty management company like Partserve. "We are perfectly positioned to take on all major brands like MSI for support and warranty repairs."
PartServe makes use of 34 outsourced warranty centres around the country and has a large footprint with carry-in centres in all major centres including Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein and Port Elizabeth.
As a world leading gaming brand, MSI Notebook's goal is to become the most trusted name in laptop computers. We stand by our principles of breakthroughs in design, the pursuit of excellence, and technological innovation as we have continued to raise the bar for ourselves and have accomplished a great deal of pioneering work in the industry.
